This flame-retardant rope is made of aramid fiber, which has a strength-to-weight ratio higher than steel. Aramid fiber is highly durable, offering exceptional strength, cut resistance, and abrasion resistance. It is resistant to organic solvents but sensitive to chlorine, alkalis, and acids. With no melting point and low flammability, it remains stable under high temperatures. Generally, it is non-conductive, though it can absorb saltwater and moisture.
Diameter: 12mm
Braiding Technique: 48-strand weave
Core: Multiple three-strand aramid ropes
Sheath: Densely braided aramid fiber
Breaking Strength: Refer to the parameter table
Advantages
Specifically designed for high temperature and harsh environments. The heat resistant aramid jacket has a decomposition temperature of up to 500 degrees Celsius. This allows access to areas with high temperatures. The high performance aramid is more resistant to abrasion and damage from sharp objects then static ropes.
Notes
Proper maintenance and storage of your rope prolongs its life and ensures consistent performance.
